Well, first of all, I’m moving. AGAIN.
Apartment #4 in a little over two years of living here. I’ve got my sights set on South Philly (between Washington and Mifflin and Broad and 8th, if you please) but haven’t really begun to hunt seriously yet. So, ahem, if you know of anything… I’m looking.
Second, and by far the most exciting, I’m vising my brother in Japan… but not before spending a few days adventuring in Hawaii! The reality of that whole shebang hasn’t really sunk in yet (maybe because I’m pre-occupied thinking about my future apartment and job?) but I just spent a few minutes Googling ridiculous things to do in Hawaii (sky diving was mentioned in a recent email exchange with bro) and I’m getting. really. jazzed. About all of it.
And — there may be super fun bonus news in the near future, but I don’t want to say anything about it and jinx what’s not exactly mine to jinx in the first place. Perhaps more exciting news soon, though! In the meantime, send good thoughts about apartment and job hunting, and any advice for this never-weary traveler. What’s fun in Hawaii and Japan?

P.S. I didn’t get into grad school. Thought I’d sneak in the teeny bit of “aww” news at the tail of all this joy and rapture. It’s all fine, though, really. Now I have more time to do well, anything else I damn well please. Ka-pow squared.

I’m delaying getting kicked out of the country until after your visit. Just so you know, just so you appreciate the spectacular lengths to which this THIRD in a series of adventure vacations is stretching me.

Ahh, congrats! This blog is totally informative already. Looking forward to reading on (or…up). You’ll have to gfill-me-in. You and your adventures are chafing my wanderlust, though…need a souvenir-carrier?
